I’ve been surprisingly busy since I moved in, the first week of the course was just an introduction, it was a lot of meeting people and introductions. I can’t really remember half the names of the people I’ve met, I know the people I am working alongside and the people on the course obviously.

We had a tour around the city by one of the lovely ladies on the course, or well two considering one of the other lovely ladies used to live here. I feel like the past few weeks have kind of merged together as one.

We had a games night last week which was good fun! Its safe to say that when we’re all together, the we being the people on my course, are pretty chaotic/weird together which makes things intresting and fun. Especially when its a more stressful and busy day!

The kids work has been kind of enjoyable but equally stressful I guess, I’ve been working closely with the kids and youth leaders which has been quite interesting, watching their interactions with each other. I’ve been helping out with more admin bits for kids work, a lot of getting things together for pre-planned sessions.

Youth work on the other hand has been pretty hectic? Not in a bad way but more of a hands on kind of thing. I’ve helped plan a few sessions which was different to what I am used to. I’ve really enjoyed the leadership sessions to.

Last Tuesday we had a session about Strength finders, I highly recommend you do it! It was really interesting to see what personality traits everyone has and how we can work them together. Our group is equally split which again I found quite interesting!

I genuinely can’t remeber everything we have done so far but I know that a lot has happened!
