Hello everyone, I have come back from the dead… well… almost… How is everybody doing? How has the past couple of weeks been for you? Please do let me know!

I am more than aware of my lack of posts (as usual) however, I do have a couple of blogs scheduled for the next couple of weeks so stay tuned for those.

One of said blog posts includes an update on my job (I am a working adulting being now).

For the past few days I have been in bed all day. I’m feeling semi alive as I write this, but we’ll see what tomorrow brings!

Without giving to many spoilers I am working in a school with teenagers covering every inch of floor space, so it really is no surprise I am ill.

As I writing this, I have a face mask on – in attempt to feel human again. I’ve barely moved out of bed to be honest.

Monday night is when I started noticing I wasn’t feeling to great and then about 3am I woke up with a ridiculously sore throat.

I’m almost at the stage of cold where I sound rather manly! For the past couple of days I’ve done nothing but blown my nose and sweat a lot (good signs I suppose?)

This is definately not the worse cold I’ve had by any means of couse, the worst cold I have ever had I have to say is from when I was 14 or 15.

I remember forcing myself intto school because there was a youth social at a indoor ski place, it had loads of fun activities that I really wanted to go along to – but I knew I couldn’t go if I didn’t go to school…

I remember slipping over and ending up head first inside the ring donut thing that we were sledding in. I laughed with my legs in the air and head first all the way down the slope.

My friend who was with me thought it was the funniest thing ever – but then, they completely lost it when I stood back up.

Why you may ask? Well, as I mentioned I had a really awful cold and before I left my house, I had shoved a few lengths of toilet roll into my coat pocket. My slip had caused it to hang out of my pocket and trail behind me.

For years my friend found it hilarious and would bring it up at least once a month! To be honest, my friend would probably still find it funny 7 years on…

When I think about it, I have many a stupid story including this friend, maybe I should share some of them?

I’ll leave this blog here for today, I am still fighting off whatever this is and no, it is not covid (thankfully)
